What is SkillsFuture?
SkillsFuture is a national movement to provide Singaporeans with the opportunities to develop their fullest potential throughout life. It is a new phase of investment in the only resource we have – our people. It aims to develop in our people skills relevant to the future and foster a culture of lifelong learning.
Because of a rapidly evolving economy, new jobs will be created and old jobs will be lost. It is thus important to prepare for jobs and skills of the future in a timely manner. In this way, our people are more ensured of employability.

What are the Courses?
MOE has approved a number of courses which will provide skills for priority and growth sectors in Singapore's economy such as: Accountancy, Advanced Manufacturing, Applied Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Construction, Early Childhood, Financial Services, Human Resource Management, ICT & Media, Logistics and Aerospace, Smart and Sustainable Urban Solutions and Social Services

Admission Eligibility Criteria for SkillsFuture Courses
The minimum admission criteria are:
- At least 18 years of age; and
- Have 2 years of full-time work experience, or have fully discharged full-time NS liability, or are currently employed on a full-time basis and
- GCE 'A' level with two passes (prior to 2006) or two H2 passes (from 2006), or local polytechnic diploma; or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma; SAT1 scores
- If not, at least 5 GCE 'O' Level & interview
