Established in 1997, Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) is the premier institution in Singapore providing mediation and other alternative dispute resolution services for commercial disputes. It has an accredited panel of professional mediators with legal and industry expertise, and actively promotes the use of mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes to businesses. SMC has facilitated the resolution of more than 4,200 matters through mediation with a cumulative quantum of over $9 billion and enjoys a settlement rate of about 70%.
On 8 October 2019, SMC and SUSS signed a MOU to collaborate in the development of courses, seminars and workshops that is of mutual interest.
