The wide range of practical courses enable students to hone their translation and interpreting skills. Its interdisciplinary and cross-cultural approach provides a broad cultural background and essential interdisciplinary knowledge required by professional translators and interpreters.

The Business Minor prepares students to become competent managers. Through acquiring knowledge and skills in operations management, financial management, project management and human capital management, Translation major students will achieve a better understanding of business operations. With the specialised knowledge in business, they can better manage their language services or improve their career advancement opportunities.
