What facilities does Singapore University of Social Sciences provide?

As a Singapore University of Social Sciences student, you will enjoy good class facilities at our campus. The campus environment is designed with the student in mind, and offers a conducive ambience for learning and interaction. A student lounge provides a relaxing gathering point for students to network and socialise.
 
Our library collection comprises both print and non-print materials and includes books, journals, audio visual materials, and training packages. The library also subscribes to a selection of online databases/e-journals which may be accessed on-campus/off-campus via the Students' Portal.
 

What kind of support will students receive?

1. MyUniSIM (BlackBoard) Learning Management System
MyUniSIM is a user-friendly web-based learning management system that supports a flexible teaching and learning environment. It facilitates self-paced learning with tools for online content sharing, course management (i.e. course materials), assessment management (i.e. continuous assessments), and online collaboration and communication. It also supports online marking.
 
Lecturers and tutors supplement classroom experience with course materials online, conduct online discussions and manage projects to enhance lecturer-students interaction. Students are strongly encouraged to access MyUniSIM regularly.
 
2. Students' Portal
The Students' Portal contains useful information such as class timetable, examination results, course registration information, latest information on course matters and important announcements. Students are advised to log in regularly for information updates and announcements.
 
3. MyMail Email Account
All students will be given an email account - MyMail - to correspond with the University. Important announcements are also sent to students via this email account.
 
4. Seminars/Talks
The University organises a wide array of events such as academic talks, seminars and social activities to enrich students' learning experiences.
 
5. Student Helpdesk
There's a student helpdesk (students@suss.edu.sg) whereby students can contact the University on all matters concerning their academic studies.
