This workshop aims to equip Teaching Grant applicants with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop compelling proposals focused on investigating innovative teaching and learning approaches within their courses or programmes.
The workshop will cover the fundamentals of action research and explore various innovative pedagogical approaches and case studies, including implementation issues and evaluation outcomes. Participants will be guided on crafting a convincing rationale for its investigation, and using literature review to support the chosen pedagogy. Methodologies suitable for investigating its effectiveness will also be discussed.
