Synopsis
This course provides students of Political Science with the basic knowledge and concepts of the discipline. It orients students with regard to how political scientists understand the world around them. On completing the course, they should be able to differentiate between the variations in political behaviour, institutions and outcomes. They will also be introduced to the various subdisciplines within Political Science – political theory, comparative politics, international relations as well as public administration and policy.
