Synopsis

Assessment in Adult Learning provides students with an insight into the fundamental concepts in and principles of assessment in adult learning. It discusses the various assessment strategies such as assessment in adult learning. It discusses the various assessment strategies such as assessment of learning, assessment for learning, and assessment as learning. It also covers the guidelines for designing assessment, and discusses issues of validity and reliability of items in traditional print, multimodal and digital texts. The course also explores issues of assessment in adult learning, and features the importance of self-assessment and its role in adult learning.
