Synopsis

This course applies computational methods to understand the function of genes and proteins. There is also an overview of methods to measure gene expression, and mapping of protein structures and functions. Topics include the methods for analysing gene expression, basic concepts and techniques of protein analysis, mutational analysis and their role in life.

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done ENTIRELY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails. There are no face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component, this will be administered on-campus.
