Synopsis
This course builds on prior theoretical understanding of community development. It aims to deliver a practice-oriented, skills-focused knowledge base on how to implement community development models and engage in community work in contemporary Singapore. It aims to translate theory to practice by providing students with basic skills set such as community organizing, managing different interests groups, engaging stakeholders etc.
