Chinese-English Simultaneous Interpretation (CTI301)

Synopsis

The course provides intensive training in the basic principles and techniques of simultaneous interpreting from Chinese to English. It provides an overview of the industry and the environment. It introduces booth etiquette and principles and trains the techniques useful for simultaneous interpreting from Chinese to English. The course places great emphasis on practice and offers opportunities to practise the techniques and consolidate the skills in simulated situations. The course will be conducted in a small group in interpretation lab.
