Synopsis

This course aims to equip students with the scope and techniques of research methodology. It provides an opportunity for them to experience the complete process of education study. At the end of the course, they will be able to consolidate what they have learnt and devise a research plan.

Apply knowledge and capitalize on resources to design, implement and evaluate relevant lesson designs and research designs, which promote the holistic learning outcomes for pre-schoolers and sharpening of own practice as a teacher researcher
Adhere to professional and ethical research practices in designing and implementing child-appropriate plans in research and assessment.
Demonstrate critical reading and analytical skills through studying of the text materials.
Demonstrate critical reading abilities through reflecting on texts and other related course documents
