Synopsis

Teaching, learning and assessment are key components of education. This course examines pedagogy in a holistic way as it supports critical and reflective teaching, learning and assessment practices. Pedagogy and assessment cover not only the teaching approaches, pupil-teacher interactions and how learning is documented and assessed, but also serve to inform educational theories, personal learning styles, assessment, and relationships in the educational learning environment. This course challenges learners to reappraise their understanding and practice through effectively linking theory to practice.
