Synopsis

Making Financial Decisions builds on the foundation developed in Managing Finance in an Organisation, focusing on three areas of complex financial decisions: How to evaluate complex investments? How to set and execute financial policies within a firm? How to integrate the financial decisions faced by firms? The main objective of the course is to train students do make important financial decisions in a complex corporate environment and to apply the analytical tools in a variety of settings. It goes beyond deploying traditional tools of financial analysis to incorporate recent developments in the application of finance theories to provide a better understanding of decision making in the world of corporate finance.
