Synopsis

IPM559 Monetising Innovation: Financing looks at the growing awareness in recent years that intellectual property (IP) assets can be monetised. Students will learn how to value IP assets by considering how to effectively leverage the knowledge, technology, trade secrets, patents, trade marks as well as the structures and processes that are critical across different industries. The course will cover the review of relevant information relating to IP and evaluation of the key considerations for selecting the appropriate IP financing structure.
