Synopsis

LAW317 Law of Property introduces the Law Student to the law of real property in Singapore. This subject deals with the relationship of people to land: students will explore the various estates in land, dealing with interest in land, the rights of mortgagors and mortgagees, the impact of easements and covenants on land. Students will also learn of the use of strata titles, as well as the Torrens system in Singapore.
