Synopsis

Warehouses and fulfilment centres play an important role to support businesses on a global scale and ensure that customer expectations are met. Warehousing facilitates product accumulation, consolidation and customisation, improves logistics accuracy and minimises the effects of supply chain inefficiencies. This course provides the students with an understanding of the concepts and applications for managing warehouse operations in the era of the digital economy. Through this exposure, students will gain insights into how warehousing adds value to the organisation’s supply chain and how warehousing decisions can increase efficiency and reduce costs.
