Synopsis
The course introduces concepts and issues in Malay Civilization and Malay philosophy, leading towards a systematic approach in the field of Malay Studies using a Cultural Anthropological (i.e culture-specific) perspective. Assignments are designed to to develop the students' ability to 'see' the Malay Civilization and Malay philosophy from a Malay-centric point-of-view.
