Synopsis

Kursus ini merangkumi sejarah perkembangan filem Melayu, nilai dan identiti masyarakat yang dipaparkan di dalamnya, serta pendekatan dan strategi untuk menggunakan filem sebagai bahan dalam pengajaran bahasa, khususnya bahasa Melayu. Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kepada pelajar aspek-aspek berkaitan dengan filem Melayu, menjelaskan gambaran masyarakat Melayu sebelum dan semasa melalui filem, serta merangsang mereka memanipulasi elemen hiburan sebagai alat pengajaran dan pembelajaran.

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component, this will be administered on-campus.
