Synopsis

Organisation asks how volunteer and employees can create value. Value can be mutually exchanged when organisations create value for volunteers and employees. NPM524 Develop and Create Value for Organisation and People introduces students to the skills-based volunteer framework. Students will learn to design a value-creating path for organisations and people using the skills-based volunteer framework. Additionally, students will adopt the vantage of for-profit organisations to apply tools that will enhance corporate social innovation and shared value, thereby developing meaningful corporate citizenship performance goals. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to engage diverse stakeholders and form coalitions to co-create, shape outcome(s) and achieve social change.
