Synopsis

PSS201 Criminological Theories and Intervention provides students with an understanding of theories related to crime, drawing from a variety of disciplines, including classical philosophy, positivist science, human biology, psychology, sociology, economics, and politics. This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply relevant theories on crime control and rehabilitation. By exploring the various theories, students will be able to formulate targeted intervention to address the criminality of an individual.
