Synopsis

PSS338 Specialised Project on Food Security provides students with the opportunity to conduct a research-based project on topics related to food security and safety. This course aims to integrate the knowledge gained and allow students to explore some of the different ways in which food security challenges can be addressed, both in research and in practice, and consider key concerns for the future. Students will take on an independent study and develop their ability to organise different tasks with a view to achieving a clearly specified goal. The project to be undertaken with related industrial stakeholders on topics studied as part of the experiential related courses.
