Qualitative Research

Qualitative Research (PSY455)

Synopsis

While psychological inquiry tends to be dominated by quantitative research, qualitative research remains deeply entrenched within certain disciplines of psychology, such as group dynamics and psychotherapy. Qualitative research is grounded in a different paradigm that focuses on experiential feeling, as opposed to quantifiable numbers. PSY455 Qualitative Research will explore a range of methodologies commonly adopted in qualitative research, with opportunities for students to design and implement their own qualitative research.
