Synopsis

SPE303 Transition in Special Education examines the concept of transition. Transition is a recurring feature in the lifespan development of individuals with Special Educational Needs. Its different aspects and the research on them are studied in this course. They include: • transition at different developmental stages of children with Special Educational Needs, • the planning and support for transition, • implementation of processes of transition, and • the inter-agency collaboration and family involvement.
