Synopsis

SPE303 Transition in Special Education examines the concept of transition. Transition is arecurring feature in the lifespan development of individuals with Special Educational Needs. Itsdifferent aspects and the research on them are studied in this course. They include:• transition at different developmental stages of children with Special Educational Needs,• the planning and support for transition,• implementation of processes of transition, and• the inter-agency collaboration and family involvement.
