Introduction to Social Sciences (SSC109)

Synopsis

The term "social science" has been used to describe the systematic study of human interaction, which encompasses many disciplines such as economics, politics, psychology and sociology. In this introductory course, we provide students an overview of the historical origins and development of each discipline. Additionally, we examine the scientific slant in the study of the social world, and discuss the various methods of social science inquiry.
