Synopsis

This course covers the various elements that enrich and help one to appreciate the nuances of a poem. It deals basically with various types of figures of speech and similes that beautify Tamil poems. It also explores Thanmaiani, Uvuaimaiani, Urivagahaani, Vetrumaiani, etc; and looks at modern poetry and their key features.
