The world and the environment that businesses operate in is VUCA – volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous. To survive and excel in the VUCA climate, organisations are rapidly adopting the Agile approach to develop new products, services and processes to deliver value earlier and respond to ever-changing requirements. IT companies first adopted the Agile method to develop software rapidly to achieve speed to market and adapt to changing needs. However, the use of Agile has now gone beyond software development into developing new products, services and processes. This course focuses on providing the foundational understanding and know-how in adopting the Agile development approach to research, ideate, prototype, test, and deploy new products, services, or processes.

A 39 year IT industry veteran in the areas of system design & development, IT operations and regional technical support. Robert has 20 years of experience as a trainer, consultant and coach in Lean, Lean Six Sigma and Lean Digitalization. His experience also includes Agile and Design Thinking. To date he has been involved with approximately 1000 improvement and innovation projects and has trained several thousand leaders, managers and employees to adopt and use these methodologies.
His training classes often include hands-on simulation games which are very popular with class participants. He is co-author of the book Strategic Lean Service. Robert was a leader in Invensys, Singapore Network Services and National Computer Board. As the VP of a division for Asia Pacific during his time in Invensys, he also had responsibility as global project manager of a worldwide Lean deployment in this Division. This was the first ever global implementation of Lean in the service sector.
Mr Heng Cho Hiong

Ezer Consulting Pte Ltd
An accomplished Lean, Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and project management consultant, trainer, coach and practitioner with 31 years of consulting and industry experience. Cho founded Ezer Consulting in 2012 to provide Lean, LSS, Agile and Project management consulting, training and coaching services. He has conducted more than 150 Lean, LSS, Agile and project management workshops and coached more than 80 LSS/Lean & Agile Projects. He developed a Lean Six Sigma Bachelor degree course for the School of Business, Singapore University of Social Sciences, and previously served as the Associate Faculty for the course
A certified LSS Black Belt and PMP, Cho previously served as the MBB and PMO Lead of Microsoft Asia Pacific Operations. He served in multiple managerial positions in Microsoft, Accenture, General Electric and Singapore Technologies. Cho received his MBA from Warwick Business School and B.E. Eng from National University of Singapore.

1 Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy: Singaporeans aged 40 and above may enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fees.
