'Checklist' for Freshmen

  1. Accept offer and make course fee payment
    Please refer to the offer letter sent to you by email and follow the steps provided to accept your offer. For Part-time Students, you should then receive your MyMail and Student Portal log in details by email within 5 working days after acceptance and course fee payment. For Full-time Students, you should receive the above details after accepting your offer. 

  2. Download the Orientation mobile app

    • Refer to your programme schedule for Orientation Day
    • Find your way around campus
    • Find out how to redeem freebies
    • Check out exciting upcoming student events and more!

  3. Browse through the Orientation Website to get all the information you need as a Freshman!

  1. Join a campus tour
    8.30am, 10.00am & 2.30pm
    Walk-in registration at Block A, Level 2, Atrium, Enquiry Counter 

  2. Meet your Deans and HOPs at respective school and programme briefings 

  3. Mingle with Academic and Admin Staff and Student Volunteers over lunch and tea 

  4. Find out more about Support Services and Student Events through fun activities at the atrium

    • Student Interests
    • Student Portal Teaching & Learning Centre

  5. Attend the important briefing on Canvas, Library, Student Portal and Teaching & Learning Centre at 1.00pm in the Grand Hall at Block A, Level 4

  6. Attend useful seminars organised just for you (optional) 

  7. Collect course materials anytime from 9.00am to 4.00pm

  2. Familiarise yourself with Important Dates and university policies by reading the Student Handbook

  3. Check your Course Timetable on the Student Portal from 15 July 2019, 5.00pm onwards

  4. Log in to Canvas to check and complete pre-course/pre-class quizzes (if any).
