Entrepreneurship Traineeship Programme (Startup SG)

This is part of the Enhanced Startup SG Founder Programme's “Train” track, which aims to provide aspiring local entrepreneurs with a strong foundation in entrepreneurship to enable them to build successful startups. The 3-month programme will help individuals to identify business ideas, develop ideas into products and perform market validation.

Job Title	Entrepreneurship Trainee
Brief Job Description	Identify Market Opportunities Build Partnerships and Customer Relations Manage Product Development Direct Marketing and Promotion Develop Financial Estimates Create Product Deck and Documents
Traineeship Development Plan	Month 1: Team Formation, Domain Deep Dive, Identifying Customer-Problem Fit Month 2: Identify Problem-Solution Fit, Achieve pre-purchase or signed Letter of Intent Month 3: Build MVP, Iterate, Assess suitability for application of Enhanced Startup SG Founder Grant
Education Level / Institution of the Trainees	Graduates and final year graduating* students may apply. Motivation statement, CV and business ideas required upon selection
Programme Dates	3 January - 25 March 2022 Application closes 10 December 2021

Eligibility

PMEs/Graduates and final year graduating* students who are Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents
Must not hold any current full-time employment
Entrepreneurial, self-starters and independent
Highly resourceful with good networks
Intellectually nimble and an eye for collaborative possibilities
Able to tackle challenging situations with finesse and determination
Experience as an entrepreneur or in a startup will be an added advantage
Passionate to build and grow a business of their own
Able to contribute a business idea in any of the following domains: Early Childhood, Gerontology / Elderlies, Psychology / Mental Health, Education Technology, Fintech / Blockchain, E-commerce / Marketing, Social Services, SME Digital Transformation; will be an added advantage

SUSS will select each student based on:

Entrepreneurial potential – experience, passion, skillsets
Potential and feasibility of the idea
