Law Programmes
The primary focus of the School of Law (SLAW) is to train and produce lawyers for the practice of law in Singapore, particularly in the areas of Criminal Law and Family Law. This is part of the national effort to meet the need for lawyers in the areas of Criminal Law and Family Law. In view of the School of Law’s emphasis on the practice of law, the two programmes offered, Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Laws, which specialise in Criminal Law and Family Law, will aim at providing a comprehensive education that is practice-oriented and multidisciplinary. Students will have ample opportunities to interact with practising lawyers, and work on real cases throughout their studies. Both degrees will qualify the graduates for entry into the Legal Profession in Singapore
