On 26 September 2020 Saturday morning, a group of students had a healthy start to their day by taking part in our very 1st virtual workout session. During this pandemic, many are cooped up working and studying from home, and most have come to learn how important it is to keep themselves physically active.
Lesley, the fitness instructor from boOm, conducted the online workout session enthusiastically via Zoom. Lesley started the session by conducting warm up exercises, which were then followed by several rounds of cardio and resistance workout comprising of shadow boxing, strength conditioning and HIIT elements that kept the participants on their toes. Throughout the session, Lesley made sure that she showed the correct form in front of her camera to the participants. Together with the upbeat songs playing at the background, all the participants were constantly motivated to try their best.
After a good 45 minute workout session, the participants took a group photo to mark the end of the fun class. From the shiny, happy faces in the photo, we could tell that it was definitely a productive workout session for everyone and they were all ready to kick start their fitness journey!
