The discussion will include consumption, possession and trafficking of drugs. The seminar will also explore certain cases such as Zainal bin Hamad v Public Prosecutor and another appeal [2018] 2 SLR 1119. This is a significant case as the Court of Appeal provided the necessary guidance on the presumptions in ss 17 and 18 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973 (MDA).
