I am very happy to know that HomeTeamNS and UniSIM have come together to help our members to continuously upgrade themselves. It gives our members a chance for a better future. We must try to have more of such sponsorships."
Professor Cheong Hee Kiat, President of SIM University said, “This is part of UniSIM’s continuing effort to serve our community. The University is determined to reach out to an ever wider diversity of adult learners in Singapore, by working with government and private organizations to promote the cause of lifelong learning and upgrading. Since our inception two years ago, UniSIM has steadfastly held on to this mission by investing monetary resources and creating multiple pathways to make it possible for those who formerly have no avenue to earn a degree to enter university. We hope that this sponsorship scheme will spark a new appreciation among HomeTeamNS’ members for lifelong learning.”
UniSIM has launched similar bond-free education sponsorship schemes with SAFRA and NTUC and has awarded sponsorships worth over S$300,000 to date.
