About the programme
Since the partnership with BNU began in 1999 under the former SIM Open University Centre, the BACL programme has been enjoying strong support from the Ministry of Education. Besides enhancing their proficiency in and knowledge of the Chinese language and literature, the programme also provides our students with an upgrading pathway for non-graduate Chinese teachers to gain a degree and advance in their teaching career. UniSIM and BNU also jointly offer the Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature (MACL) programme to cater to those who wish to pursue a higher degree in this field. MACL students will be equipped with knowledge and skills that help to enhance their employability, particularly in the booming China market. To date, there are 32 BACL graduates who have gone on to pursue the MACL programme at UniSIM.
