Run by SIM University's School of Human Development and Social Services, this half-day presentation featured discussion and content around ethics, cross-cultural and boundary issues in supervision. Attended by over 80 participants from various social service sectors, there was an interactive discussion as well as some didactic information regarding supervision. Participants were able to explore individual and agency strengths and challenges related to supervision issues in role-play and discussion. Profs Lois Bosch and Laura Boisen were present to facilitate this workshop. Both of them are professors of social work at Augsburg College, Minnesota. This workshop finished with a panel discussion with our two facilitators and two local representatives, Ms Clara Lee, Executive Director, Rotary Family Service Centre, and Mr Tan Boon Huat, Director of MESERVE. The panel discussion was moderated by Prof Kalyani Mehta, Head of Gerontology, SIM University.
