Design Elements Art & Photography Exhibition

UniSIM celebrates the return of its anticipated Design Week Art & Photo Exhibition on 4 March 2017 by showcasing exciting works by current students from the Bachelor of Multimedia and the Bachelor of Arts Education programme. Held in partnership with the Singapore Design Council, and in conjunction with the Singapore Design Week festival, this exhibition features over 60 works and a seminar guest lecture by renowned award winning photographer, Mr Steven Yee. Mr Yee is the current Secretary General of Society of Photographers, Singapore. 

Titled "Design Elements", the exhibition cum guest lecture talk focuses on design elements which accentuate pieces of art and photographic work. Selected works across different mediums from charcoal sketches to photographs were used to show how design elements and principles could be manipulated and applied for achieving specific effects. Through this event, we hope to raise the general understanding and appreciation of design elements amongst members of public and to further engage the discussion of design elements amongst practitioners. The function was well attended by current students and members of public, and we look forward to the return of our exhibition next year.
