New Minor in Special Education

If you are interested in growing your skills in the challenging and rewarding field of special education, SUSS has just introduced a minor in Special Education.

The minor in Special Education stresses the importance that every child matters and that every child will improve, regardless of his or her challenges and diagnosis.

This programme will prepare you with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of special education, both in a mainstream and a special school setting. Additionally, you will also be exposed to the myriad of methods regarding teaching and supporting children and youths with special needs. It will aid in your insights and understanding about children and youths with various special needs. These may include: autism (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), dyslexia, language disorders, learning challenges and intellectual disabilities.
