On 1 April 2014, Mr Ng Lup Houh, Deputy Director, Strategic Planning Office, Infocomm Security and Assurance Division (ISEC) of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, met up with SIM University students from the School of Business' Managing Information Security and Privacy course.During the talk, Mr Ng shared how the cyber security landscape has evolved with new and more sophisticated threats. Mr Ng, who also heads the Secretariat for the National Infocomm Security Committee and is actively involved in the National Cyber Security Masterplan 2018, as well as various ISEC’s security initiatives, related his experiences in dealing with these threats at both national and organisational levels. The talk ended with a lively question-and-answer session, which lasted longer than intended as the students had many interesting and relevant questions for Mr Ng.
