SIM Homecoming 2014

SIM University (UniSIM) and SIM Global Education (SIM GE) joined hands for the first time to organise a combined homecoming for the SIM alumni family, as part of SIM's 50th anniversary celebrations. The event was held to connect with our strong alumni community, as well as to raise funds for SIM's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme beneficiaries.

Some 300 alumni members and staff turned up for the special occasion held on 11 July 2014. The event was graced by Ms Denise Phua, Deputy Chairman, Government Parliamentary Committee for Education, and was hosted by radio celebrity Ms Vernetta Lopez.

Many of our members were delighted to return to the campus to catch up with fellow alumni and faculty members, and to reminisce about the old times. The evening was lined up with interesting student performances, good food and lovely company. The event ended with a heart-warming outpouring of memories and birthday wishes from those present. The event raised a total of S$9,650 for SIM's CSR programme beneficiaries.
