SIM University (UniSIM), represented by the School of Science and Technology (SST), and in partnership with MAJ Aviation, participated in the Singapore Airshow 2014 in February at the Changi Exhibition Centre. Billed as Asia's biggest airshow, the event gave UniSIM the opportunity to share with the aviation community the value and relevance of its aerospace degree programmes. Visitors to the UniSIM booth also had the chance to experience the virtual reality training simulator put up by its industry partners while getting their queries on the aerospace programmes answered.Military Expert 5, Mr John Lee, a recent UniSIM graduate with First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Systems degree programme, was part of the Republic of Singapore Air Force deployment at the Airshow. Mr Lee, who is currently the Officer Commanding of Logistics Flight in 145 Squadron, commented: "It was great seeing SST representatives, and so many associate faculty members and course mates at the Airshow. It seems like UniSIM is becoming a big part of this extremely lively and dynamic industry."
