SIM University Supports ISCA Run

The School of Business (SBIZ) at SIM University (UniSIM) contributed to a charitable cause by sponsoring bottled water for the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) Run held on 29 March 2014. The ISCA Run is organised to raise funds for the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), a voluntary welfare association that seeks to integrate the visually handicapped into the community.

"SBIZ strongly supports the ISCA in their initiative to raise funds for SAVH. We have actively encouraged our students to participate in this event for a good cause. By their engagement, we hope to instil in them a sense of empathy for the less privileged and a social consciousness in their thinking as professionals," said Associate Professor Chan Yoke Kai, Head of the Accountancy programme.
