SIM University (UniSIM) has partnered Creative Media Academy (CMA) to deliver quality continuing education and training (CET) to the South East Asian region through a collaboration sealed on 8 August 2012. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Associate Professor Philip Cheang, Dean of the School of Science and Technology (SST), and Mr Vinson Chua, Managing Director of CMA, in the presence of Professor Cheong Hee Kiat, President of UniSIM, and Mr Sim Wong Hoo, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Technology at the CMA Studio in the Creative Resource Centre.
CMA was founded with investments from media veterans and Vue Networks, a regional media production facility. Vue Networks is an associate company of Creative Technology, a world leader in the research and development of audio and video systems in computer media entertainment and education. Besides CET, CMA will assist UniSIM to teach and develop a suite of courses in broadcast engineering and further develop the current infrastructure capabilities.
