UniSIM Hosts Prince Of Songkla University Delegation

On 20 May 2015, a group of students, led by two faculty members from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University (Pattani campus), visited SIM University (UniSIM) as part of their study trip to Singapore. Associate Professor Seng Boon Kheng, Vice Dean of UniSIM's School of Human Development and Social Services and Head of Programme for Social Work, hosted this group from Thailand.

After giving an introduction to UniSIM's Bachelor and Master of Social Work programmes, Associate Professor Seng proceeded to have a lively and enthusiastic questions-and-answer session and discussion with the students, who were interested in the history, current issues and climate of social work in Singapore. The visit concluded with a tour of the campus for the visitors before they proceeded to their next destination – a local voluntary welfare organisation.
