Proud moment for Team SUSS! We competed against eight universities—ESSEC Business School, Nanyang Technological University, SP Jain School of Global Management, National University of Singapore, Singapore Institute of Management, Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore Management University, and Singapore University of Technology and Design—in the 2025 CFA Research Challenge and emerged as First Runner-Up!

The CFA Research Challenge is an intense global competition that pushes students to apply real-world financial analysis, valuation techniques, and investment research skills. Over months of rigorous work, our team conducted:

• In-depth industry and company analysis to understand market trends and key drivers.
• Financial modeling and valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Risk assessment and ESG evaluation to integrate sustainable investing perspectives.
• Comprehensive investment thesis development with a clear buy/sell/hold recommendation.
• Presentation and defense of our research to a panel of industry professionals.

At SUSS, we believe in learning beyond textbooks—through hands-on experience, critical thinking, and mentorship from industry experts. This competition showcased the power of teamwork, resilience, and analytical excellence that SUSS instills in its students.
