English-Chinese Simultaneous Interpretation (CTI302)

Synopsis

The course provides intensive training in the basic principles and techniques of simultaneous interpreting from English to Chinese. It introduces the relevant principles and trains the necessary techniques useful for simultaneous interpreting (SI) from English to Chinese. The course places great emphasis on hands-on practice and offers opportunities to practise the techniques and consolidate the skills in simulated situations. The course will be conducted in a small group in the interpretation lab.
