Patent Infringement & Validity (IPM531)

Synopsis

IPM531 Patent Infringement & Validity prepares students to sit for the Singapore Patent Agent Qualifying Examination Paper C: Infringement and Validity of Singapore Patent. The course delves into evaluating patents to identify scope of protection, appraising product/process and assessing prior art. Students will also look into formulating an opinion on patent infringement, patent invalidity and/or scope of protection and communicating the opinion to relevant stakeholders.
