Materials Designing for the Malay Language Classroom (MLL303)

Synopsis

This course focuses on the considerations the language teacher has to think of in developing materials to support the teaching of the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. This course will function as an extension from the above two courses on teaching of listening and speaking and also the teaching of reading and writing. Students will be asked to prepare their own teaching materials to achieve their aims in teaching the four language skills above.

Presentation Pattern: EVERY JULY
E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component, this will be administered on-campus.
