This book is a compilation of nine theses by the students from the third cohorts of the Master of Education in Early Childhood Education (in Chinese) programme, a collaboration between SUSS and Beijing Normal University. The volume represents a milestone in the two institutions’ decade-long collaboration in nurturing early childhood education professionals 

Continuing the philosophy of “rooted in local contexts, co-building and sharing knowledge”, topics cover children’s core competencies, teacher-child interactions, inclusive education, Chinese language teacher development, AI in education, Singapore’s childcare service policies, child-friendly kindergartens and fostering child’s autonomy with outdoor activities. The studies respond to the evolving needs of Singapore’s multicultural society and demographic challenges. Grounded in local practice and informed by international perspectives, the research offers valuable insights into innovation, quality enhancement, and digital transformation in early childhood education.

《根植与共建3——新加坡学前教育研究》为新加坡社科大学（SUSS）与北京师范大学（BNU）学前教育专业硕士项目第三届毕业生论文成果集萃，是两校十年合作育人的阶段性总结。
