Adult Learners Scheme
SUSS has been offering an alternative admission pathway for adult learners to pursue full-time undergraduate programmes under the Adult Learners (AL) scheme. A limited number of places are set aside for adult learners under the AL scheme.
Adult learners must fulfil the following conditions to be admitted under the AL scheme:
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident; and
- Meet the admissions criteria1; and
- Be at least 25 years old in the year of matriculation; or
- Possess at least four years of full-time working experience2.
Eligible adult learners who are Singaporeans aged 40 years and above can apply for SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance when enrolled in a full-time long-form programme. The allowance will be based on 50% of one’s average income over the latest available 12-month period, capped at S$3,000 a month, for up to 24 months over an individual’s lifetime.
