MOE Science of Learning (SOL) Grant
The Science of Learning (SoL) Grant seeks to support science-based research (which includes but is not limited to neuroscience, cognitive science and technology that augment human cognitive abilities) that could explicate the principles, processes and mechanisms of learning and skills acquisition to generate implementable and scalable interventions that improve education and skills development, and hence advance Singapore’s human potential. The SoL grant is opened to eligible researchers from Autonomous Universities, Polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education or A*STAR research institutes.
Thematic Focus
The 6th SoL grant call invites proposals which address the following challenges:
- Challenge Statement 1 – Function and Performance
- Challenge Statement 2 – Overall Well-being of an Individual
- Challenge Statement 3 – Transfer of Adult Learning Across Context
- Challenge Statement 4 – Adult Learning and Ageing
- Challenge Statement 5 – AI in Education
- Challenge Statement 6 – Learning Contexts and Environment
MOE encourages inter-disciplinary proposals (particularly those that synergises STEM and SSH disciplines in a meaningful way), including those that leverage artificial intelligence and technology to augment intelligence and support learning.
