Introduction
The inaugural Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education (GCCCE) was held in May 1997. The 31st GCCCE, to be held from 31 May 2027 to 3 June 2027, is co-organised by the Global Chinese Society for Computers in Education (GCSCE) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). It will bring together scholars, educators, and policymakers to share and discuss their latest research and findings. The conference programme will include keynote speeches, paper presentations, workshops, doctoral student forum, teacher forum, and panel discussion.

The GCCCE 2027 conference offers nine sub-conferences (C1 to C9) along with an English Paper Track (EPT). Choose the most relevant sub-conference for your paper.
All papers submitted under C1 to C9 tracks must be written in Chinese. Papers submitted in Chinese must include the title, abstract, and keywords in both Chinese and English, and the full paper must be uploaded in PDF format to the conference submission website. English papers should be submitted to the “English Paper Track (EPT)” regardless of topic.
The submission page limits are as follows:
- Long paper: 8 pages
- Short paper: 4 pages
- Poster: 2 pages
How to submit your paper in EasyChair
1. Register for an EasyChair account
- If you don't have an account yet, please visit EasyChair and register.
- After registering an account, EasyChair will send you a confirmation email.
- The email contains a link that allows you to edit your account information (user name and password). Please remember your username and password to log in to EasyChair.
2. Submit a Paper
- Log in to EasyChair.
- Click [New Submission] and select the sub-conference.
- Complete the paper details and submit. You will receive a confirmation email from EasyChair.
3. Edit Paper Information
- Go to [My Submissions]＞select the paper＞click [Update information].
- You can modify details such as title, abstract, category, or keywords.
- Click [Change Information] to save.
4. Review Submissions
- Check all submissions under [My Submissions] to view or manage your uploaded papers.
Paper Submission Templates
Presenters are required to prepare their papers using the templates provided. Please ensure that the requirements are followed when preparing and submitting your paper.
Guidelines for Presentations
This year’s GCCCE will be conducted via in-person conference presentations.
The time limits for paper presentations in each session are as follows (please ensure your presentation does not exceed the allotted time):
- Main Conference and English Paper Track: long paper 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for Q&A), short paper 15 minutes (including 5 minutes for Q&A).
- Workshop: Time limits are determined by the individual workshop organisers. Authors should consult their workshop chair for details.
- Teacher Forum: long paper 15 minutes (including 5 minutes for Q&A), short paper 12 minutes (including 4 minutes for Q&A).
- Doctoral Student Forum: long papers are allocated 15 minutes for presentation, followed by 10 minutes for Q&A session, for a total of 25 minutes; short papers are allocated 10 minutes for presentation, followed by 10 minutes for Q&A, for a total of 20 minutes.
Please strictly adhere to the scheduled time for your paper presentation and report to the session chair before your session begins.
- At least one author must attend the conference in person to deliver the presentation.
- Every presentation room is equipped with a projector and a computer running the Windows 11 operating system with Microsoft Office software. Personal computing devices may not be used and are not supported for presentations.
- Presenters are required to prepare their presentation materials only in MS PowerPoint or PDF format, save them on a USB flash drive, and bring the USB drive to the venue.
- The first page of your presentation should include the title, author names, and institutional affiliations in a clear and legible font/size.
- The conference does not support presentations downloaded from the cloud or accessed via web links for presenting.
- Before each session begins, presenters must go to the assigned room to upload the presentation materials and perform a technical check.
- Session chairs will introduce the authors and assist with facilitating discussions and taking photographs.
Presenters are responsible for preparing their own posters according to the following conference guidelines.
Poster Content
- Title: Should be prominently displayed and easily identifiable.
- Author Information: Include names and institutional affiliations, positioned near the title.
- Abstract: A brief overview of the research objectives, methods, and results to allow the audience to understand the core message quickly.
- Visuals and Data: Use clear charts and appropriate legends; avoid cluttered designs.
- Readability: Use clear and legible font sizes; avoid using fonts smaller than 1 cm in height.
- Contact Information: It is recommended to provide the author’s email or contact details at the bottom of the poster for follow-up enquiries.
Printing Requirements
- Dimensions: 89 cm (width) x 148 cm (height).
- Material: Use light-resistant and durable materials to ensure the poster remains neat and professional throughout the event.
- Restriction: Please do not print on foam board.

On-Site Arrangements
- Before officially mounting your poster, please locate the staff at the designated area to obtain adhesive tape and other mounting supplies. You must show your poster to the staff for a preliminary review before posting.
- Staff will assign specific locations for each poster; please ensure yours is placed exactly as directed to maintain proper spacing and neatness relative to other works.
- All posters must be mounted at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
- Stationery for mounting will be provided on-site.
- Please note that the use of amplifiers or megaphones is strictly prohibited during the poster sharing session.
- The venue will not provide any digital equipment for loan.
- Interactive Session: If you wish to be considered for the Best Poster Design Award, at least one author must be present during the interactive session to answer questions and engage in discussions with the audience. Active participation is a key factor in increasing your chances of winning.
